FIT-FUN Boot Camp offers an outdoor fitness program which provides a challenging and fun experience for both men & women of ALL FITness levels. We also address healthy eating habits throughout the session to keep campers focused on eating healthy foods which are nutritional and support their activity level in order to reach their goals. This program supports those who want to make serious yet realistic lifestyle changes through exercise and healthy eating. Each class varies, increasing the intensity level throughout the session for beginning campers and challenging our returning campers to progress further. Although the concept of functional fitness or total body strength (TBS) is stressed throughout the session, every class will key in on the elements of cardiovascular, strength, balance, stability & core training. Each class will keep concepts familiar for campers to progress within the exercises. Circuit training is incorporated along with exercises performed at the camper’s mat to increase endurance while working on strength. Obstacles & agility drills are set up as we move throughout the park. There is constant motion in our classes to avoid boredom and have FUN! The program is designed to use a variety of equipment which will be provided for the campers along with outside structures at the park. Campers also bring their own dumbbells for use at class (see “Camp Equipment”).

Classes meet Monday & Thursdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM.

ALL CLASSES are ONLY $10 !! You can sign up at anytime during a session for the number of classes you wish to take...make it FIT your schedule!

Each class is a fast 60 minutes long and zips by leaving you feel invigorated and strong! ALL classes start ON TIME and all campers are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the class start time so they can set up & be ready to work out without interruption! Class size is limited to insure everyone gets the attention deserved for a safe & productive workout. Don't wait, sign up now!

Camp Equipment:
Campers provide their own dumbbells. For women, it is recommended to have a set (2 each) of 3lb, 5lb, 8lb & 10lb dumbbells. For men, heavier weights are recommended. Details of what to bring will be addressed individually upon your registration.

All other equipment is provided which includes but not limited to: resistance bands, medicine and stability balls, Lebert Equalizer Bars, various cardiovascular & drill related equipment. The equipment is used along with the park’s structures to provide for a diverse exercise program.

What to Wear to Camp:
It is recommended you wear comfortable, season appropriate workout clothing and athletic shoes; such as a running or cross-training style sneaker.

What else should you bring:
Yoga or Exercise Mat (it is recommended you use ½-1 inch cushioned mat and a bath size towel to cover your mat), plenty of water, lots of energy and FUN attitude!

Session or Class Cancellations:
Sessions are only cancelled if less than 5 people have registered. Cancellation will be determined within 24 hours of the session start date. Should this occur, you will be notified and payment will be immediately refunded.

Class will be cancelled during the session if there is inclement weather – You will receive notification via a text message, email or phone call up to 1 hour prior to class time. Therefore, if you have any concern, please check your phone or email at least 60 minutes prior to start time for any cancellation. You can always call us to make sure. Sometimes, the weather is spontaneous and we can’t alert the within 60 minutes of class start time. Then we will call you and why it’s important we have a current and working telephone number to reach you. Otherwise you may arrive and be the only one at the park!

Class Absence:
It is expected that campers will be at every class they have signed up for during the session. However, situations arise in life and flexibility is given to assist campers with their schedule. Campers are able to miss and make-up up to (2) classes only. Under certain circumstances, we will make adjustments.

Camp Location
Class will always meet at Tumbleweed Park and campers will be instructed on where to meet. The park is located in Chandler AZ. The cross roads are McQueen and Germann, just a ¼ mile south of the 202 Freeway (map).

Tumbleweed Park is a beautiful park which has much to offer not only outside in the park but inside the Tumbleweed Recreational Facility (TRC). TRC opened in May 2008 and has grown in popularity because it suits the needs of all ages. TRC offers monthly & annual memberships or you can just drop in and pay as you go. There is 62,000 square footage of state of the art fitness equipment, an indoor track, 2 racquetball courts, 2 group exercise studios and 2 enormous basketball courts. TRC also offers child care! This facility is fabulous and would be a great compliment to your workouts with FFBC, should you implement other areas of fitness into your routine.
