Hi
and thank you for your interest in FITness FUNatics! I
am Molly Carroll and the owner of FITness FUNatics, LLC
and previously, the owner of Perfect Form Fitness, LLC.
I have been fitness coaching since 1997 and I am
certified in fitness training through the National
Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and International
Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). I am also certified
in CPR/AED. As the field of health & fitness grows, I
continue to grow with continuing education to stay
current with fitness and nutrition information for my
clients.
I have been athletic since I was a young girl. I became
involved in strength training 35 years ago and continue
to maintain this discipline in my personal regimen. As a
young girl, I struggled with my weight and as I became
athletic in swimming and tennis, I was able to maintain
although not easily. As I developed in my teens and
twenties, I focused on my weight management through
cardio & strength training in addition to clean eating
habits. These tools were a basis for my future but I
didn’t see it until after I had my two children. In the
late 80’s to early 90’s, I had two beautiful babies
which also brought me 65-70 extra pounds each! The scale
soaring to 215-220 pounds with each pregnancy although I
had the knowledge & experience to prevent such a weight
gain! No more excuses and after my second child was
born, I made a decision to take control and get off the
crazy roller coaster ride of weight fluctuation. Soon after my second son was born, I
made another decision. I decided to help others with
their weight management. Fifteen years later and yes, I
continue to struggle with many of the same issues my
clients are faced with daily but I won’t let it control
me. It is through my personal experiences and knowledge
that I am able to relate and help my clients.
I work with clients both on a personal and group basis.
My clients range from 15 to 70 years of age, both men
and women. Over the years, I’ve had many clients stay
with me or leave to do their own routines then return
for assistance. Regardless of their needs, I am here for
my clients and they are family to me, whether in a
personal or group setting. My goal within a group
environment is to maintain consistency in an
individualized approach. I have found the only way to do
this is to keep the class size small. My son, Brian also
instructs boot camp classes with me and brings a dynamic
level of energy to the park! To all those who fear "boot
camp" will kick their butt, I assure you we are not
drill sergeants! Instead we strive to motivate,
encourage and push each camper to the next level, yet
have FUN! I am the same way when working with clients on
a personal basis and strive to have FUN with my FITness
programs, yet challenge my clients! I love working with
my clients and it’s a joy to watch them achieve their
goals toward a healthier lifestyle! Friendships are
forged through a common purpose that can last a lifetime
and helping others doesn't stop with fitness coaching.
Regardless of whether you are seeking personal training
or a boot camp program, we will work together and
succeed as a TEAM!!
